Job summary

Circle is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer II to lead technical strategy and solution architecture for Payments and Enterprises opportunities in the EMEA region. You will partner with Business Development, Product, Engineering, and Client Success to design scalable, enterprise-grade solutions that demonstrate value.

You will also provide market and technical feedback to inform product roadmap and ensure seamless integrations for large customers, regulators, and partners across the region.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in roles such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect or Product Manager, preferably in Payments, FinTech, B2B SaaS or Web3/Blockchain infrastructure.
• Excellent ability to translate complexity into simple, actionable solutions.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills for internal and external audiences.

What you'll be responsible for:

Circle is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer II to support Payments and Enterprises opportunities in EMEA. In this role, you will lead technical solutioning throughout the customer lifecycle - from discovery and technical validation through implementation and post-sales expansion - partnering closely with Business Development, Product, Engineering, and Client Success teams. You will design scalable, enterprise-grade solutions that demonstrate the value of Circle 's products for Payments and Enterprises customers. As a senior individual contributor, you will also provide structured market and technical feedback that informs product strategy and roadmap prioritisation, helping ensure our solutions meet the evolving needs of global crypto ecosystem.

What you'll work on:

• Partner with Business Development to lead the technical strategy and solution architecture for Payments and Enterprises opportunities.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions to identify client requirements, regulatory considerations, and integration constraints.
• Design and present scalable solution architectures, including APIs, transaction flows, custody models, and settlement processes.
• Develop proof-of-concepts, implementation plans, and technical validation frameworks to support enterprise decision-making.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to identify product gaps, influence prioritisation, and improve integration experiences.
• Support post-sale implementations in partnership with Partnership Management, ensuring technical delivery aligns with architectural design and customer objectives.
• Represent Circle externally at industry events, technical workshops, and client engagements while contributing to internal knowledge sharing and global Solutions Engineering initiatives.
• Create and sustain an internal knowledge repository about our existing and forthcoming products.
• Supporting the Global Solutions Engineering team with internal projects.

Preferred Requirements

• Leadership Qualities: If you've managed a team before, it's a bonus.
• Experience working with blockchain infrastructure, stablecoins, tokenized assets, or digital custody solutions.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations relevant to the EMEA Payment industry.
• Ready to Travel: regular travel (up to 25%) to external events and to meeting partners/customers across the EMEA region should be expected.
