OpenTable is seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Engineer to lead API integrations and high-impact technical engagements within our partner ecosystem. You will own sophisticated implementations, drive technical standards, and partner across Sales, Partnerships, Support, Product, and Engineering to ensure successful launches.

The ideal candidate has deep API and system integration experience, thrives in ambiguity, and can guide initiatives from technical discovery through deployment while

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Solutions Engineering or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Deep experience with REST APIs, JSON payloads and authentication methods.
• Experience reviewing logs, debugging API requests/responses, and diagnosing complex integrations.
• Led complex technical implementations from discovery to production launch.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex API integrations and technical initiatives from discovery to launch.
• Own quarter-length technical projects and high-impact partner implementations.
• Serve as primary technical advisor for partners, restaurant groups, and initiatives.
• Translate requirements into technical approaches balancing complexity and scalability.
• Diagnose and resolve API/integration challenges using logs, requests/responses, and auth flows.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and gaps; collaborate on mitigations.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to clarify scope and solutions.
• Communicate delivery blockers and risks early and clearly.
• Act as escalation point for complex issues and implementations.
• Maintain deep expertise across our APIs and integrations.
