Job summary

KPI Recruiting Ltd is partnering with a Crewe based solar and renewables business to appoint an experienced Electrical Qualifying Supervisor. You will ensure electrical governance, compliance oversight and accreditation support across solar PV, battery storage and related technologies.

The role demands a qualified electrician with strong inspection, testing and certification experience, plus knowledge of BS 7671 and UK regulations.

Qualifications

Significant experience as a qualified electrician.
Strong inspection, testing and certification experience.
Experience with NICEIC, NAPIT or MCS accreditation bodies.
Knowledge of BS 7671 and UK electrical regulations.

Responsibilities

Act as the nominated Electrical Qualifying Supervisor per accreditation requirements.
Provide technical oversight across solar PV, battery storage and renewables.
Ensure works meet BS 7671, MCS and NICEIC/NAPIT standards.
Oversee inspection, testing, commissioning and certification.
Review certificates, test docs and quality records.
Lead audits and accreditation support.
Manage non-conformances and corrective actions.
Develop electrical compliance procedures and standards.
Monitor workmanship and installation quality.
Support workforce competence and technical authorisation.
