Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor in Glasgow to oversee technical standards for electrical and roofing work on solar PV and battery storage installations. You will conduct surveys, design systems, train installers, and support scheduling to streamline project delivery.

The role combines office work with on-site duties, across domestic and commercial sites, including remote locations.

Qualifications

• Previous QS level experience
• Maintaining accreditations with MCS and NICEIC
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
• Experience with solar PV, battery storage or EV chargers
• Ability to survey and design solar PV installations

Responsibilities

• Lead on technical standards across electrical and roofing elements of installs
• Carry out spot inspections and audits
• Onboard and train installers
• Attend customer sites for surveys and system design
• Support scheduling with the scheduling team and advise on job setup
