Job summary

Ecovision is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager (Solar) to drive growth across the Construction, M&E, Property Development, Hard FM, Property Management and Estates sectors in the UK. You will lead high-value rooftop solar deployment, build relationships with senior decision-makers, and oversee end-to-end sales.

This hybrid role requires regular travel to England and Wales with a competitive compensation package including commission, and an OTE of £100,000+.

Qualifications

• What you'll need: a proven history generating high-value leads, closing complex deals, and exceeding sales targets within Construction, M&E and Property Developer sectors or Hard FM, Property Management and Estates sectors.
• A well-developed network of industry contacts to open new opportunities and drive growth.
• Ability to own the full sales process from identification to negotiation and handover.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with experience engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Proactive, self-driven approach focused on strategy, processes and continuous improvement.
• Senior-level hunter mentality, resilient, ambitious and results-driven.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development across Construction, M&E, Property Developer, Hard FM, Property Management and Estates sectors for rooftop solar installations and long-term client partnerships.
• Drive high-quality lead generation, target key clients, and shape market offers with the Sales & Marketing Director.
• Provide market insight by analysing industry trends and competitor activity to inform pricing, positioning and service development.
• Build long-term relationships with senior stakeholders including C-Suite contacts in construction, development and facilities management.
• Own the end-to-end sales process from opportunity identification to proposal creation, negotiation and close, with smooth handovers to Operations.
• Act as trusted advisor for key accounts ensuring service delivery and client satisfaction throughout project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Sales & Marketing Director to capture new market opportunities and contribute to growth strategy.
• Lead senior-level presentations, develop tailored solutions and negotiate complex contracts to secure strategic wins.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate property suitability and present tailored solar solutions.
• Represent Ecovision at industry events, forums and networking opportunities to strengthen brand presence.
