Job summary

Cobalt Consulting (UK) Ltd is seeking a senior leader to own rooftop renewable energy projects across solar, battery storage, and EV charging. You will drive delivery from site visits to commercial operation, ensuring quality, safety, and profitability while supporting major clients in decarbonisation.

You'll oversee multi-project portfolios, manage client relationships and stakeholders, and shape strategy to maximise ROI and align with growth goals in a fast-moving renewables business.

Qualifications

• Must have rooftop solar PV experience.
• Experience with battery storage and EV charging.
• Proven programme, project, or construction management.
• Strong commercial awareness and budgeting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a drive for excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end rooftop project delivery, from site visits to commercial operation
• Oversee portfolios of solar, battery, and EV charging projects
• Manage client relationships, contractors, and grid operators to ensure smooth delivery
• Drive projects to completion on time, on budget, and to industry-leading standards
• Optimise performance and client ROI across multiple energy projects
• Provide strategic oversight, ensuring projects align with wider business goals
