Job summary

Randox Laboratories is seeking a Software Test Manager to lead the Software Test Engineering Team at our Antrim site. The role focuses on overseeing daily testing activities, developing test strategies, and ensuring quality across engineering software products.

You will work with project managers to estimate testing efforts, recruit staff, and drive continuous improvement in software testing processes. This is a full-time, permanent onsite position with standard 40-hour weeks.

Qualifications

• Degree in a software-related discipline.
• 5+ years in a Software Test environment.
• Previous software management experience.
• Knowledge of software lifecycle, traceability, risk verification, regression testing.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Experience with manual and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Software Test Engineering Team and recruit staff.
• Report test project status to management.
• Create test strategies for standalone software products or products containing software.
• Develop test protocols for analyser platforms to broaden team expertise.
• Create, locate and acquire data required for testing assignments.
• Estimate Software Testing activities with the Project Manager.
• Create verification test cases for quality, functionality, reliability and usability.
• Execute test cases on software.
• Record defects in a tracking system.
• Contribute to risk assessments for projects under development.
• Ensure deliverables meet internal procedures and international standards.
• Undertake reviews to improve software test processes.
• Assist in training staff in use of internal software products.
