Job summary

AJ Bell is hiring a Senior Software Test Engineer to join a focused application development team. You’ll drive testing across UI, API, back-office workflows and third-party integrations, maintaining an automation-first approach while coaching other testers and aligning with the Team Lead to balance workload.

You’ll influence how solutions are developed and delivered, execute test scripts using JIRA and Xray, and support UAT and production releases in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Experience testing across UI, API and integrations with an automation-first approach.
• Coaching or mentoring testers in a team setting.
• Strong understanding of testing in Agile environments and risk-based testing.

Responsibilities

• Protect the quality of the customer experience.
• Carry out testing across UI, API and integrations, including end-to-end testing.
• Understand requirements and test accordingly.
• Raise defects with clear detail to support resolution.
• Coach and support testers within the team.
