Rolls-Royce plc is seeking a Software Tech SME to provide technical leadership in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software solutions across the full lifecycle. You will set governance, architecture guidance, and ensure alignment with security and performance standards.

You will lead development teams, oversee code quality with tools like SonarQube, manage release processes, and drive agile practices. A strong background in Java/C#/Python, and cloud platforms is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive software development experience with a track record of technical leadership.
• Proficiency in Java, C#, Python, JavaScript and .NET ecosystems.
• Strong architecture understanding and design patterns.
• Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, GCP).

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and delivery of software applications.
