Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Project Engineer (Software) in Warrington. You will own customer projects from planning through to go-live and handover, coordinating software, technical and installation teams.

The role requires PRINCE2 certification, a strong software background, and first-rate governance, planning and stakeholder management. This hybrid, site-based position offers a clear delivery cadence and real impact on customer operations.

Qualifications

• PRINCE2 certification is essential.
• Strong project management fundamentals with software delivery experience.
• Experience coordinating multiple teams and managing customer projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer projects from order handover through development, installation, commissioning and close-out.
• Establish project plans, milestones, resource requirements and a regular cadence of reviews and updates.
• Lead project governance, maintaining clear records of risks, decisions, actions and dependencies.
• Control scope changes and track their impact on costs, resources and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate internal teams, customers and third parties, including site readiness, training and acceptance.
• Manage transition into support and capture lessons learned.
• Site based, with customer travel as required and 1 day working from home per week after probation.
