Job summary

Palo Alto Networks, Inc. is seeking an experienced, curious and driven software engineer to join our growing Workload Identity area.

This role offers the opportunity to transform inter-service communication security across platforms, touching on networking, security, SDKs, cloud, Kubernetes and related modern software development domains. We seek a high-performing engineer with broad experience in security, networking and cloud, ideally with Workload Identity exposure.

Qualifications

• Strong software development background across design, architecture, implementation and testing.
• Knowledge of Golang development.
• Experience in networking, security, cloud, Kubernetes, encryption, PKI, JWT, SPIFFE.
• Experience solving problems at enterprise scale with performance and quality standards.
• Experience in product development and collaboration with PMs and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software to solve Workload Identity challenges, from prototyping to production, and including client and server.
• Develop, shape, lead, mentor, and collaborate with a close-knit team.
• Work with stakeholders to discuss ideas, present work, discuss priorities and options, offering the technical point of view.
