Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Technical Product Engineer to redefine the future of Identity Security. You will play a customer advocate role, driving success and accelerating adoption of new solution portfolios for machine, workload and AI Identities.

You will develop technical content for partners, customers and internal stakeholders while working with cutting-edge technology and supporting enterprise architectures across diverse environments.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Experience working closely with customers as a technology expert.
• Ability to adapt to emerging technology trends, particularly in identity security for machines and AI.
• A self-starter who brings a builder mindset and a desire to continuously learn new technologies.
• Proven ability to work in challenging customer situations and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and validate enterprise architectures for machine identity, secrets governance, and agentic identity management across diverse environments.
• Own and develop internal and external facing assets, such as blogs, whitepapers, tech enablement, and deep-dive decks.
• Partner with specialist sellers and technical solutions teams to support opportunities involving secrets modernization and machine identity governance.
• Engage in complex customer environments to ensure identity security is a core topic for deploying modern workloads, including AI.
• Support revenue growth by influencing deal outcomes and aiding strategic deal acceleration.
• Build reference architectures and impactful demos to support customer adoption and partner integration.
• Scale the global technical solutions team by turning emerging identity solutions into repeatable field motions via workshops and enablement.
• Feed actionable insights to product from customer feedback on modern identity challenges for machines and AI.
• Establish leadership in machine and AI Identity security through executive briefings and industry engagements.
• Drive community discussions and market education on identity-first security for machines, workloads and AI agents.

Job Summary

As a Technical Product Engineer, you will work with cutting edge technology to redefine the future of Identity Security. You will operate as “customer zero”, playing a key role as a customer advocate to drive customer success and accelerate adoption of new solution portfolios for machine, workload and AI Identities. You will achieve this through your deep expertise while simultaneously creating essential technical content for our partners, customers and internal stakeholders.

• Define and validate enterprise architectures for machine identity, secrets governance, and agentic identity management across diverse environments.
• Own and develop internal and external facing assets, such as blogs, whitepapers, tech enablement and deep dive decks.
• Partner with specialist sellers and technical solutions teams to support high-impact opportunities involving secrets modernization, machine identity governance and securing AI agents.
• Engage in complex customer environments to ensure that identity security platform is a core part of the conversation for deploying modern workloads, including machine and AI.
• Support revenue growth by influencing deal outcomes and supporting strategic deal acceleration where expertise beyond what is available in the field is needed
• Build reference architectures and impactful demos to support customer adoption, partner integration, and industry best practices.
• Help scale the global technical solutions team by transforming emerging identity solutions into repeatable field motions through technical workshops, enablement programs and reusable architecture frameworks.
• Feed actionable insights to product by continuously learning from customers and external sources about the challenges of modern identity, specifically as it relates to machines and AI.
• Establish leadership in machine and AI Identity security through executive briefings, industry conference presentations, technical publications, media engagements
• Drive community discussions and market education showing how organizations should approach identity-first security for machines, workloads and AI agents.
