Job summary

Elastic is seeking a senior engineer to lead the Prism team's work turning raw data into trustworthy views of users, hosts, and services. You will work across Entity Store, risk scoring, and data maintainers to help analysts understand what happened and what to investigate next.

You will partner with product, design, and engineering to deliver reliable, scalable features for security teams, while thriving in a distributed, asynchronous environment.

Qualifications

• Multiple years of experience building production software.
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills, especially React and Node.js.
• Led projects from conception to deployment.
• Proven track record using AI to accelerate development and debug complex systems.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and work autonomously in a distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Own small-to-medium projects from design through production.
• Profile and optimize queries for speed and reliability at scale.
• Write high-quality TypeScript/React code; build API services as needed.
• Develop telemetry, tests, and safeguards for production stability.
• Review code, support teammates, and improve team practices.
• Collaborate with Elastic Security, Kibana, Elasticsearch/ES|QL, and Support teams.
