Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Software Engineer for the Security EDR Workflows team to build workflows and user-facing capabilities for Elastic Defend integration and OSquery forensics. You will work with security engineering, product, and design to deliver robust, high-scale features used by practitioners worldwide.

You will implement UI features, contribute to the management and response framework, and develop scalable systems within the Elastic ecosystem.

Qualifications

Proficiency with Node.js and React.js; TypeScript is a plus.
Interest in AI-assisted development and problem solving.
Comfort with collaborating across time zones and teams.

Responsibilities

Implement features powering Elastic Defend user interface capabilities.
Contribute to Elastic Defend management architecture with OSquery forensics.
Develop scalable, high-performance systems within the Elastic ecosystem.
Write production-grade code in Node.js/Typescript as part of a high-quality codebase.
Collaborate with other teams on cross-team efforts.
Improve engineering standards and tooling driven by AI usage.
Participate in code reviews and distributed teamwork.
Work with a globally distributed team focusing on Elastic Defend and OSquery.
Collaborate on large product features with the team.
Use AI to accelerate development work.
