Job summary

At Atlassian Williams F1 Team, a Senior Software Engineer is sought to join our Software Development group, building bespoke, high-quality software that directly supports Engineering and Operations—from aerodynamics to real-time race data and performance analysis. You'll work across a diverse software estate, collaborating with product managers and engineers to translate needs into robust solutions.

Our stack includes C#/C++, React, Python, and cloud-native services, with an active modernization

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science or a related software development field.
• Strong experience in C#, Go, Java, C++, Python, or TypeScript.
• Familiar with Azure DevOps and Git version control.

Responsibilities

• Understand the needs of a wide range of users across Williams Racing and translate them into clear technical specifications.
• Develop, implement, and maintain innovative software solutions with the Software Development team.
• Enhance existing systems to improve reliability, performance, and adaptability as requirements evolve.
• Collaborate with other technology groups to develop shared data platform services.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers, championing best practices and quality.
• Contribute to defining and documenting preferred software designs, patterns, and architectures.
• Streamline development processes to enable the team to deliver more to customers.
• Provide application support during race weekend events where required.
