Job summary

Atlassian Williams F1 Team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Software Development group. You will help build bespoke, high-quality software supporting engineering and operations—from aerodynamics to real-time race data and performance analysis.

You’ll work across a diverse software estate with C#/C++, React, Python-based tools, and backend services in C#. The role involves cloud-native modernization and shaping data platforms.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field involving software development.
• Strong software development experience in one or more of: C#, Go, Java, C++, Python, or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with software process management tools and source control such as Azure DevOps and Git.
• Collaborative, communicative, problem-solvers with ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Understand needs of a wide range of users across Williams Racing and translate into clear technical specifications.
• Develop, implement, and maintain innovative software solutions with the Software Development team.
• Enhance existing systems for reliability, performance, and adaptability as requirements evolve.
• Collaborate with other technology groups to develop shared data platform services.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers; promote best practices and quality.
