Job summary

Elekta is seeking a software engineer to join a team developing applications for radiotherapy systems. You will contribute to the full software lifecycle, from design and development to testing and deployment, ensuring high quality delivery in a collaborative Agile environment.

The role requires a degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent, strong software engineering foundations, and experience with CI/CD, unit testing and modern cloud or containerised environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and SDLC.
• Experience with unit testing, automation and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborative in Agile development teams; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain software applications used in radiotherapy systems.
• Deliver full stack development using C#, .NET, WPF and C++, across UI and backend.
• Improve software quality through automated testing, code reviews and CI/CD.
• Support migration to containerised, microservices-based environments.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and stakeholders in Agile planning.
