CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build and scale our platform as we meet growing demand from the world’s largest engineering companies. This hands-on role covers the full software lifecycle—from design and testing to deployment and operations, contributing to a distributed architecture and agentic-ready AI applications.

You will design APIs, implement critical components in Python, and ensure security-minded development with observability and reliability best practices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Breadth across deployment, CI/CD, automated testing, and reliability.
• Experience with distributed systems, building and operating backend services end-to-end.
• Experience designing APIs and service interfaces.
• Security-minded development including OAuth and secure-by-default practices.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to transition from monolithic to distributed architecture.
• Write production-quality Python code for platform components.
• Build and optimize distributed compute services.
• Implement reliable workflow orchestration patterns.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment for platform services.
• Support reliability, observability, and SRE practices.
