Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to advance data solutions within a fast-paced, agile environment. The role emphasizes building scalable data platforms, strong Java 17+ development, and cloud-based analytics using AWS.

You will collaborate with data partners and cross-functional teams to deliver trusted, market-leading technology products, while shaping the future data architecture and ensuring secure, robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience.
• Experience with Graph Database such as Neo4J.
• Expert level Java application development experience using Java 17 or higher, Spring boot, relational databases (Postgres, Oracle, etc).
• Experience with Kubernetes, AWS or any cloud experience.
• Strong SQL skills across Postgres/Oracle/SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Operates on big financial and non-financial data using modern parallel data analytics tools.
• Contributes to the design and architecture of the data management platform.
• Builds and maintain dataset documentation and metadata.
• Evaluates the current data architecture and shape the future state data architecture and roadmap.
• Works closely with data analytics staff within our team and partner teams to optimize solutions and develop ideas.
• Develops solutions to make the product supportable and scalable.
