Job summary
Roku seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join the Enterprise Engineering team, building scalable web applications and services that power key business processes. You will own platform services, drive architecture decisions, and deliver high-quality software within tight timelines.
You will partner with security/compliance and cross-functional teams to meet audit requirements, work with microservices and cloud-native tech, and contribute to IaC/tooling improvements across Terraform and Apache
Qualifications
- 5+ years delivering multi-tier, distributed web applications.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and data structures.
- Experience with test-driven development and test automation.
- Experience developing microservices and IaC workflows.
- Proactive, self-driven, with strong communication.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy scalable web applications and services.
- Drive architecture discussions and own new projects.
- Partner with security/compliance to meet requirements.
- Improve engineering tools, cloud technologies and processes.
- Define and participate in Agile development processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
- Develop and maintain microservices using modern frameworks.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code workflows for reliable deployments.
