Job summary

Harvey Nash is seeking Senior Software Engineers/Lead Engineers for Bristol, offering flexible working with two days onsite. You will work in small, collaborative teams delivering bespoke software for major clients and government projects, shaping technical direction and mentoring others.

Ideal candidates are strong problem-solvers with experience in Python, C#/.NET or TypeScript, and a passion for building well-structured systems across the full development lifecycle.

We're hiring a Senior Software Engineers/ Lead Engineers to join a highly respected technology consultancy working with some of the UK's largest organisations and government departments. You'll work in small, collaborative teams delivering bespoke software solutions while helping shape technical direction and mentoring others.

What you'll be doing:

• Building high-quality software across the full development lifecycle
• Solving complex technical problems for a variety of clients
• Working closely with engineers, testers, designers and stakeholders
• Mentoring colleagues and supporting best practice
• Taking ownership of significant pieces of delivery work

We're interested in engineers with experience in one or more of:

• Python
• C# / .NET
• TypeScript

More importantly, you'll be a strong problem-solver who enjoys learning new technologies and building maintainable, well-structured systems.
