Job summary

Harvey Nash Group in Bristol is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Java) to join a growing consultancy that delivers complex software solutions for enterprise and public sector organisations. This is a hands-on role working with clients and across the full software development lifecycle.

You will join collaborative teams, design and deliver high-quality software, mentor colleagues, and contribute to architecture while maintaining a strong focus on quality engineering and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Java.
• Experience building scalable, maintainable software systems.
• Background in consultancy and/or public sector environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A collaborative approach and passion for solving complex problems.
• SC Cleared or eligible to obtain SC Clearance.

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a growing consultancy that delivers complex software solutions for enterprise and public sector organisations. This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with clients, solve challenging technical problems, and contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle.

You'll be joining collaborative, multidisciplinary teams that value quality engineering, continuous learning and pragmatic problem-solving.
