Job summary

Harvey Nash is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in Newcastle, offering flexible working with two days onsite. You will build high-quality software across the full development lifecycle, solve complex client problems and collaborate with engineers, testers, designers and stakeholders.

Looking for a role where you can solve genuinely complex software challenges, work directly with clients, and have a real impact on delivery?

We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join a highly respected technology consultancy working with some of the UK's largest organisations and government departments. You'll work in small, collaborative teams delivering bespoke software solutions while helping shape technical direction and mentoring others.

What you'll be doing:

• Building high-quality software across the full development lifecycle
• Solving complex technical problems for a variety of clients
• Working closely with engineers, testers, designers and stakeholders
• Mentoring colleagues and supporting best practice
• Taking ownership of significant pieces of delivery work

We're interested in engineers with experience in one or more of:

• Python
• C# / .NET
• TypeScript
