Job summary

Synthesia Limited is seeking a senior software engineer to own end-to-end architectural decisions for the Developer Platform. You will drive high-velocity, high-quality feature releases, mentor engineers, and partner with leadership to shape the technical roadmap.

You’ll lead initiatives spanning quarters, focus on scalable infrastructure, and push back on requirements with data-driven insights, ensuring reliability and security of our internal tooling.

Qualifications

• At least seven years as a software engineer with senior/staff level experience.
• Proven hands-on experience building and operating developer platforms and CI/CD systems.
• Experience leading AI-powered tooling adoption across engineering.
• Experience shipping infrastructure that increases velocity and quality.

Responsibilities

• Own architectural decisions for feature builds and safe releases.
• Mentor engineers and drive technical practice through design reviews.
• Partner with leadership to shape roadmaps and technical strategy.
• Drive end-to-end ownership of large technical areas and platforms.
