AVEVA is seeking a Services Senior Engineer to join its COE in a senior technical role focused on AVEVA-based solutions. The position involves developing and testing new features, resolving application issues, and supporting customers with deployments and upgrades.

The role requires strong software and database troubleshooting, SQL querying, and programming experience (5+ years), plus SCADA/HMI knowledge and excellent English communication. Travel to customer sites worldwide is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in software, database and/or troubleshooting, diagnosis and problem solving.
• SQL Database querying and programming experience.
• Programming experience (5 years minimum).
• Understanding of SCADA and HMI systems.
• Positive attitude, enthusiastic, self-motivated and customer-focused.
• People-person and team player, enjoying cross-functional interaction.
• Quick learner with an inquiring mind.
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills in English.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Ability to travel to various customer sites in the region and worldwide.

Responsabilités

• Work with DEV and SUPPORT teams to master customer solutions.
• Research, identify, develop and recommend software enhancements.
• Support customers in adopting new solutions and resolving issues.
• Assist L2 Application Engineers with site-specific difficulties during commissioning and upgrades.
• Participate in post-release and pilot phases with testing and validation.
• Resolve technical issues escalated by other teams.
• Identify and analyze product failures and support engineering.
• Contribute to documentation of new features via Knowledge Base.
• Design, plan and test complex systems for monitoring and control.
