Job summary

Travel Counsellors Limited is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help shape our CX journey across web, mobile and digital services. This hands-on role focuses on C# and .NET, leading substantial pieces of work and collaborating with product, design, architecture and engineering teams to deliver practical, dependable solutions.

You’ll drive API design, testing, security, performance and production readiness while exploring AI-assisted engineering tools to improve code quality and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience delivering and supporting production software.
• Strong hands-on C# and .NET skills.
• Experience with customer-facing web or mobile products and APIs.
• Able to use AI-assisted engineering tools and ensure code quality, security and when human review is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead substantial CX changes across customer web, mobile and digital journeys.
• Set a high standard for C# and .NET engineering, API design, testing, maintainability, security and performance.
• Collaborate with product, design, architecture and engineering colleagues to shape solutions.
• Provide technical guidance within the team and contribute to shared design decisions across CX teams.
• Surface dependencies and help unblock delivery while ensuring clear ownership.
