Job summary

Onmo is seeking a Product Minded Software Engineer for Growth, a cross-functional team owning Journey 1 from onboarding to first arrears. You’ll shape problems with Product and Design, ship features across app, web and backend, and own outcomes in production.

You’ll drive onboarding, funnel conversion, utilization and reliability, collaborating with engineers, Product, QA and business owners to deliver measurable improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven product-minded backend/frontend or full-stack production experience.
• Strong Node.js / TypeScript with AWS/serverless.
• Experience with React Native / Expo / React / Next.js.
• Infra as code with Terraform; CI/CD practices.
• Fintech, banking, payments or regulated product experience.
• Startup experience and ownership of customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Understand the customer problem and shape the technical approach with Product and Design.
• Ship changes that improve Journey 1 outcomes.
• Build onboarding and growth features across app, web and backend.
• Own features in production: monitor health and runbooks.
• Handle bugs and support queries with diagnosis.
• Contribute across Growth services (onboarding, biometrics, APR, CLM, etc.).
• Follow team rules when extending services owned by another team.
• Use data to connect engineering choices to measurable outcomes.
• Write clean, tested, maintainable code and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, Product, Design, QA and business owners.
