Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior software engineer in London to drive the evolution of large-scale systems using Go, AWS, and Azure. You will contribute to platform reliability, observability, and scalable delivery while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

Highest level of proficiency developing applications using most of the listed technologies.
Strong Golang knowledge and experience.
Knowledge of AWS products such as Lambdas and DynamoDB.
Comfortable working in Azure and Azure DevOps environments.
Containerisation and infrastructure-as-code approach.
Good understanding of development methodologies and design patterns.
Cloudflare knowledge.
C# ASP.NET and .NET Core are a plus but not necessary.
Experience with React, TypeScript, Astro, and NodeJS is a plus.
Willingness to learn; candidates do not need to meet every listed requirement.

Evolve, enhance, and modernise large-scale systems
Drive adoption of technologies such as Go
Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
Develop automation for infrastructure deployment, monitoring, and scaling
Build tools and processes supporting continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)
Make data-guided decisions affecting core business metrics and processes
