Job summary

Civica is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement innovative software solutions. You will collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

You will mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and champion TDD, automated testing, and DevOps practices including CI/CD and containerization.

Qualifications

• Design, develop and implement scalable software solutions using modern tech stacks.
• Lead code reviews to ensure best practices, maintainability, and coding standards.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement software solutions with a focus on scalability, performance and security.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver value.
• Mentor junior engineers and perform code reviews to share knowledge and ensure code quality.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues, implementing timely, robust fixes and improvements.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for software design, code and processes.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and advocate for beneficial innovations.
