Job summary

Civica is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. You will design, develop and implement scalable software solutions while ensuring performance, security and maintainability.

You will mentor juniors, review code, and collaborate with product managers and UX/UI designers to deliver fit-for-purpose software. Proficiency in Go and React with additional C#, .NET or Angular experience is valued; strong TDD, cloud and DevOps skills are essential.

Qualifications

Expert in Go, React; experience in C#, .NET & Angular is desirable.
Proficient in TDD and automated testing frameworks and methodologies.
Experience with cloud technologies and DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization).
Strong SQL/NoSQL database design and management; excellent debugging skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and implement scalable software applications with a focus on performance and security.
Conduct code reviews to promote best practices and maintainability.
Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with product, UX/UI, and stakeholders.
Identify and troubleshoot issues, delivering timely, effective solutions.
Create and maintain documentation for software design, code and processes.
