Job summary

You will develop highly available services, mentor engineers, and drive cross-team initiatives across distributed cloud environments. Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience delivering production-grade software
• Experience with distributed systems at scale (petabytes, millions of objects, low latency)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS preferred
• Ability to mentor engineers, lead design discussions, and drive cross-team work
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and incident response

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and ship high-quality scalable services
• Lead technical discussions and produce design docs/proposals
• Mentor engineers and contribute to code reviews
• Provide ownership and reliability in code through best practices and documentation
• Partner with product and engineering to define requirements and milestones
• Participate in on-call rotation and drive postmortems and improvements
• Improve developer workflows and contribute to a collaborative culture
