Job summary

LoyalBe is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop and deliver full-stack software. The role offers autonomy, impact, and growth within a fast-growing CLO network. You will work across features from the React dashboard to bank API integrations and IaC, shaping the engineering direction in a dynamic startup.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Software Engineer or SSE (3+ years experience).
• Knowledge of at least one high level programming language (Java, Javascript, C#, C++ or similar).
• Knowledge of relational databases (we use MySQL - general SQL experience required).
• Knowledge and experience with CI/CD.
• Experience applying development best practices and patterns in relation to security, scalability and performance.
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud platform provider.
• Familiarity with the SDLC from preliminary analysis to tests and production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Write well-designed, testable code (this will be most of your day).
• Design and build APIs for use with our web app and partners.
• Build systems at scale, learn new technologies and share knowledge.
• Solve technical challenges with good coding practices while being conscious of functionality and robustness.
• Develop a deep understanding of our entire tech stack.
• Fully own the design and development of multiple features.
