Finastra is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help design, develop, and deliver high-quality software for e-billing and payments. This full-stack role emphasizes Python expertise and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead others, shape architecture discussions, and build modern web applications for financial messaging, with Agile teams and a focus on fintech solutions. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong full-stack Python/Django with front-end JS (jQuery, HTML/CSS).
• Proficient with MySQL, Linux (Red Hat) and Git.
• Frontend and UI design skills for web apps.
• Experience with AI tools like Copilot to improve efficiency.
• Fintech/banking domain experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Lead others in coding, testing, and documentation.
• Produce detailed specifications and maintain software functionality.
• Work with project plans and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
• Guide technologies and approaches for tasks and architecture discussions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve problems independently.
• Contribute to modern web-apps for financial messaging.
• Support and mentor junior/mid-level engineers in an Agile team.
