Certus Recruitment Group is partnered with a London-based fintech building a regulated stablecoin and digital payments platform. We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join at an early stage and help build the application, financial infrastructure and settlement technology behind the platform.

This is a hands-on role, collaborating with the Head of Engineering across back-end services, core systems and customer-facing applications, turning architecture into robust,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong back-end engineering experience.
• Experience taking systems from prototype through to production.
• Strong TypeScript and PostgreSQL/SQL skills.
• Experience with strongly typed languages.
• Rust experience is highly desirable or a strong systems background.
• Experience with event-driven and transactional systems.
• Strong written communication and a design-led approach.
• Collaborative, hands-on and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Work across back-end services and transaction workflows.
• Develop financial transaction and settlement systems.
• Implement compliance and authorisation logic.
• Design databases with transactional integrity.
• Build APIs, event-driven architecture and shared schemas.
• Develop customer-facing and internal applications.
• Integrate blockchain and on-chain settlement.
