Job summary

The Opportunity Hub UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Software Developer to design, develop and maintain scalable digital platforms in the fintech/payments space. You will work across web, mobile and cloud-native environments, collaborating with product, design and QA teams to deliver secure, high-performing applications.

You’ll contribute to both front-end and back-end development, leveraging frameworks like Angular and languages such as Java, Python or Node.js.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial experience as Software Developer, Front-End, Back-End or Full Stack in tech-led environments.
• Strong experience with modern web development frameworks, including Angular or equivalent front-end technologies.
• Experience with backend development and API integration using languages such as Java, Python, Go, Node.js or similar.
• Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS, Azure or comparable platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable digital applications across web, mobile and backend systems.
• Build and support front-end applications with responsive, engaging user experiences.
• Develop and maintain robust backend services, APIs and integrations for secure and reliable functionality.
• Collaborate with product, QA, design and engineering to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
• Integrate APIs and optimise system performance across platforms.
• Translate UI/UX concepts into interactive digital experiences.
• Support mobile development for iOS and Android where required.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
