Job summary

The Trade Desk in London, United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own end-to-end delivery of significant features in our event tracking and data platform. You will build tools enabling self-service data access and insightful dashboards for multiple teams, including business and product units.

You will work on safe, governed access and mentor others while shaping the design of the data ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and operating backend services or data pipelines at scale.
• Familiarity with data warehouse or lakehouse platforms and event-driven pipelines.
• Experience developing SDKs for client applications and ensuring reliability.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve tools for company-wide data access, dashboards, and AI-powered assistants.
• Own end-to-end delivery of significant features in the event tracking and data platform.
• Extend safe access controls and governance for self-service data across teams.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and design discussions.
• Contribute to design decisions and evolve team tooling and processes.
