Job summary

Infor is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Farnborough to design and build cloud-native MES platform services, APIs, and data pipelines that enable AI and IoT capabilities across manufacturing.

You will work hands-on to develop secure, scalable services and integrations with MES data, ERP environments, and enterprise applications, contributing to the platform that powers intelligent manufacturing workflows.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on software engineering experience delivering enterprise apps or platforms.
• Strong C# and .NET development skills with API-driven designs.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, AWS, Kubernetes, and modern cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud-native services and APIs for MES, AI, and IoT initiatives.
• Build scalable platform components exposing manufacturing data and processes securely.
• Develop integration between MES, Infor OS, IoT devices, and AI-enabled apps.
• Contribute to platform services enabling intelligent workflows and observability.
• Collaborate with architecture, product, and engineering teams to deliver platform capabilities.
• Support performance, scalability, security, reliability, and observability improvements.
• Mentor developers and promote engineering best practices.
