Job summary

Infor Inc. is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to define and drive AI strategy across the Infor MES and Manufacturing portfolio.

You will help shape architecture, data models, ontology strategy, and platform integration, translating AI investments into scalable, secure solutions. You will work with Product Management, Architecture, and Engineering teams to ensure measurable customer value while maintaining enterprise-grade security and reliability.

Qualifications

• Background delivering enterprise applications or platforms.
• Hands-on software development experience with modern engineering practices.
• Proven experience delivering production AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic architectures, AI orchestration frameworks.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities into enterprise software products.
• Experience designing APIs and software architectures.
• Experience with cloud-native application development and modern SaaS architectures.
• Experience with semantic modelling, ontologies, knowledge graphs, or domain-driven modelling.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, security, scalability, reliability, and observability.
• Excellent C# and .NET experience and relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Define the AI architecture, standards, and technical strategy for MES and the Manufacturing portfolio.
• Design scalable, secure AI-enabled product features using cloud-native and SaaS principles.
• Build production AI feature sets, reference implementations, and reusable platform components.
• Define API strategies, tool interfaces, and integration patterns for AI with MES processes.
• Mentor engineers and provide architectural leadership across AI, IoT, and platform teams.
• Contribute to long-term technical strategy and roadmaps for AI acceleration initiatives.
