Opencast is seeking a Senior Software Developer for UK-based client work, focusing on engineering craft and thoughtful problem-solving. The role emphasizes collaboration, TDD, and emerging design, with frequent on-site client engagement across the UK.

You’ll lead technical delivery in agile teams, drive quality through testing, and mentor others while building scalable, secure systems. Regular travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Senior Software Developer with proven design and delivery of user-centred services.
• Experience with Java or Scala; Kotlin, Ruby or JavaScript are welcome.
• Ability to design scalable, secure, accessible systems.
• Strong testing culture and TDD/pair programming.
