Job summary

Domino Printing Sciences is seeking a software developer to join the Print Systems Software group. The team designs, implements and tests software for Domino coding and marking solutions while supporting existing products. You will contribute across the product lifecycle in an Agile environment.

You will work with C++/C#, embedded Linux, networking, microservices and containerisation, taking ownership of features and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet roadmap goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in C++ and C# programming.
• Embedded Linux expertise.
• Experience in networking fundamentals.
• Experience in microservices architecture and containerisation.
• Experience of task estimation and refinement to support PM.
• Take ownership and responsibility delivering both personal and team goals.
• Knowledge of at least one software engineering practice (e.g. TDD, BDD, CI/CD).
• Demonstrable experience of Agile values and principles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver value to customers by designing, developing, testing and reviewing individually deliverable software features within a team.
• Delivery of sprint-goal feature tickets.
• Work alongside test engineers to influence behaviours to ensure the test strategy is implemented and code is tested at appropriate levels.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proactively collaborate with individuals and other teams to achieve business objectives.
• Assist breaking down the roadmap into a backlog, identifying and mitigating risk.
• Maintain professional skills and apply new technologies across projects and codebases.
