Job summary

Domino Printing Sciences PLC is seeking a Technical Applications Engineer to join our Technical Services & Solutions team. This field-based role focuses on delivering low‑complexity technical integration solutions across the UK, with preference for candidates in the North of England to reduce travel time.

You will work directly with customers and Service Engineers to deliver bespoke mechanical adaptations, simple integration packages, and installation support for Domino coding equipment,

Qualifications

• Electro‑mechanical apprenticeship, HNC, or equivalent experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with measurements and engineering drawings.
• Working knowledge of electronics and software-driven industrial systems.
• Confident communicator who can explain technical solutions clearly.
• Well-organised, methodical, and calm under pressure.
• Full UK driving licence and travel flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver small-scale integration work, including bespoke brackets, mounts, and simple mechanical interfaces.
• Carry out site surveys, take accurate measurements, and produce installation documentation.
• Install bespoke mounting solutions and support Service Engineers during planned activities.
• Act as a technical point of contact for customers throughout assigned work.
• Maintain clear documentation and feedback issues, improvement ideas, and opportunities.
• Support service operations during peak periods, within agreed scope.
• Continuously develop your technical knowledge and customer service capability.
