Job summary

Veson Nautical is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own design, development, testing and deployment of significant projects. You’ll work autonomously, mentor others, and guide one or more areas of the codebase in an environment where AI-assisted workflows are integral.

Our Titanic team handles the daily vessel valuation platform, with PHP, Python, Node.js, MySQL/Aurora, and AWS. You will review AI-generated output, ensure correctness, and contribute to how we scale agentic software across

Qualifications

• 5+ years' professional software engineering experience with PHP, Python, or Node.js/JavaScript.
• Proficient with relational databases, ideally MySQL.
• Able to work across the full SDLC autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Drive significant projects end-to-end — design, build, test, and roll out changes across Titanic's valuation platform.
• Build and maintain APIs, data pipelines, and partner integrations.
• Take ownership of areas of the codebase and guide AI agent usage.
• Review AI-generated output for correctness, security, and architecture.
