Veson Nautical is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to own significant projects in Titanic’s valuation platform, spanning PHP, Python, and Node.js services. You’ll drive design, testing, and deployment with autonomy, mentoring teammates and integrating AI agents into everyday workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven track record in PHP, Python or Node.js/JavaScript.
• Strong SQL experience; MySQL preferred.
• Experience with Docker and container deployments.
• Experience with AWS or GCP.
• Experience designing or consuming GraphQL or gRPC APIs.
• Infrastructure as code experience (Terraform).
• Production monitoring or error-tracking tooling (Sentry).
• Ability to translate business requirements into user stories and designs.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end projects from design through deployment across Titanic’s valuation platform.
• Build and maintain APIs, data pipelines, and partner integrations.
• Own one or more areas of the codebase, including AI agent usage.
• Review AI-generated code for correctness, security, and architectural fit.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to architecture and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers across the organization and with clients on technical challenges.
