Job summary

Ripple is hiring a software engineer to design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs for its Cash Forecasting platform. You will work across a complex, multi-tenant SaaS codebase, ensuring data integrity in PostgreSQL.

You will own the data layer, write tests with RSpec, and deploy via Docker in an AWS environment, while collaborating with product and design teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL fundamentals, PostgreSQL preferred.
• Experience with Docker and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Proficiency in at least one major language (Ruby, Python, Java).
• Experience building multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
• Experience with AI tools in development lifecycle.
• Experience testing with RSpec and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs for the Cash Forecasting platform, with frontend tasks as needed.
• Work across a large multi-tenant SaaS codebase for enterprise customers.
• Own the data layer, schema design, and query performance with PostgreSQL.
• Write and maintain tests using RSpec as a first-class delivery element.
• Package and deploy services using Docker in AWS-based cloud setup.
• Automate repetitive work and support data migrations with scripts.
