Job summary

Ripple is seeking a Senior Software Engineer on the Data Engineering team to own the design and delivery of production-grade pipelines end to end. You will work on the Caspian Data Platform powering analytics and data-driven operations across business units.

This role emphasizes autonomy, mentorship, and building scalable data systems with Databricks, Delta Lake, and PySpark, while ensuring robust data contracts and governance. Hybrid London-based work with strong collaboration opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building production data pipelines and models.
• Strong SQL with complex transformations and data quality validation.
• Proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production ETL pipelines on Databricks with Delta Live Tables and Spark.
• Own data modeling across layers to provide trusted sources of truth for metrics.
• Drive architectural design and write design docs for cross-team projects.
• Build pipeline observability, error handling, and oncall hygiene.
• Integrate AI tooling into data workflows for automation and access.
