Job summary

The company NI in Belfast is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and own scalable B2B platform services. This full-stack role focuses on backend-heavy development and requires taking ownership of large, business-critical features within a fast-paced team.

You will collaborate with Product Managers and Architecture to deliver robust, scalable solutions, mentoring teammates and driving engineering excellence in a hybrid in-office setting in Belfast.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional programming experience.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience in Typescript, Golang, Python or other server-side languages.
• Experience with microservices, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience building, deploying and monitoring cloud-based applications (AWS).
• Strong ability to communicate designs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and delivery of key business applications and solutions.
• Enhance code quality, productivity and velocity through AI-assisted technology.
• Adhere to our Software Development processes whilst improving engineering culture.
• Proactively engage with cross-functional stakeholders including Product Managers and Architecture team.
