Job summary

eFinancialCareers is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in the Greater London area. You will build and maintain services for engineering squads, taking ownership with increased autonomy in a squad without a PO or tech lead.

You’ll work on CI/CD pipelines, AI productivity tooling, and cross-squad collaboration to unblock blockers. You’ll engage with stakeholders to prioritise by impact, handle ambiguity, and support in-hours across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience collaborating across squads and mentoring engineers.
• Ability to make sound technical decisions and push for quality while being pragmatic.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and ownership from problem to outcome.
• Experience with cross-functional teamwork, pairing and mobbing.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to prioritise based on impact and manage ambiguity.
• Work on CI/CD pipelines, Golden Paths and AI productivity tooling.
• Collaborate with other squads to solve engineering problems.
