Job summary

Sharegain, London-based fintech redefining capital markets, is hiring an experienced AI Engineer to join our R&D team. You will deliver scalable web applications from idea to production, taking care of architecture, security, scalability and reliability across the stack.

You will own end-to-end AI and agent systems, experiment with models and prompts, design cloud infrastructure, and drive technical excellence in a production-critical environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Proven LLM experience: write, optimize, and measure prompts and applications with production-grade systems.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals: SOLID, TDD, version control.
• Deep CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and computer architecture implications.
• Familiarity with microservices, CQRS, and event sourcing patterns.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker containers.
• Experience designing and building microservices architecture.
• A team player with a positive attitude and problem-solver mindset.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership of AI & agent systems from architecture to production, including AI-native features and lifecycle monitoring.
• Cloud infrastructure: design, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of cloud applications.
• Technical excellence: drive high-quality delivery in a production-critical environment.
• Translate business needs into concrete system architecture and implement end-to-end across the stack.
