Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking software engineers to join our High Integrity Software team in Bath, UK. You will help develop safety-critical software for aerospace, defence, rail, automotive and energy sectors, adhering to rigorous standards and quality practices.

The role is hybrid, with 2-3 days in the Bath office. Candidates should bring strong knowledge of SDLC, requirements, development or test, and experience with ADA/SPARK and relevant industry standards.

Your role

Capgemini Engineering is looking for a software engineers to join our High Integrity Software team. You will join a diverse team of excellent and experienced engineers who are committed to ensuring our projects meet our customers’ high expectations. Our team develops software for safety related and critical applications in the Aerospace, Defence, Rail, Automotive and Energy sectors, often related to critical national infrastructure.

Your profile

Essential

• Strong knowledge of the whole safety critical software development life cycle.
• Expertise in either requirements, development or test.
• Experience in at least one of the following markets: aerospace, transport, defence, rail, automotive.
• Experience with Spark/Software Language ADA.
• Experience of applying relevant standards such as 61508, 50128, 26262, 00-55, ED-109, DO-178 etc.
• Organised, good time management and prioritisation
• Methodical approach to work, with good attention to details and strong logic and reasoning skill

Desirable

• Degree qualified in software engineering or related/relevant subject.
• Experience in at least one of the following markets: aerospace, transport, defence, rail, automotive.
• Knowledge and experience in static analysis techniques
