Job summary

Nationwide is expanding its engineering team to deliver technical artefacts aligned with our engineering and architectural strategy. You will act as a technical SME, leading decisions and guiding teams to accelerate delivery.

We invest in people to build multi-functional engineers, with hybrid work across the UK and opportunities for home working. You may work at Swindon, London (Post Building) or Manchester offices as part of a flexible hybrid model.

• Ability to translate architecture strategy into actionable plans.
• Proven track record in delivering quality solutions meeting KPIs/SLAs.

Job description

As part of our growing engineering team, you will be responsible for the creation and delivery of technical artefacts to deliver team objectives that are aligned to engineering and architectural strategy. Recognised as a technical SME and/or a task leader and/or a people leader. Provide technical leadership enabling technical decisions to be made with confidence and at pace. Help to provide quality solutions that meet KPIs/SLAs for the area.
